fish for your pond

Tilapia

Waiahole Nursery and Garden Center is located in Hawaii on Oahu in Kaneohe. Waiahole Nursery and Garden Centerʻs aquaponic farm specializes in growing leafy greens, herbs, and tilapia fish in our commercial aquaponic systems. Aquaponics takes the concept of hydroponic farming, and raising fish, in a single integrated system.  The waste from the fish provides an organic food source for the growing plants, which eliminates the need for chemical nutrient additives. The fish Waiahole Nursery and Garden Center uses in its aquaponic systems are Tilapia. All of our produce is grown using Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and organic practices, so you can rest assured your customers and family will get the very best in quality.
